So today was one of the REU girls' 21st birthdays, so we all wanted out to get dinner together and she would order an honorary drink. She was craving Italian, so we got Chapman's recommendation for a good Italian restaurant nearby. He was probably thinking "Oh, these young kids just love a good pizza party! What a wholesome, safe way to celebrate a birthday.... there'll be pitchers of rootbeer, and at least two parents present to chaperone, and everyone will have a fantastic time (as long as little Bobby doesn't start crying again when Suzy pinches him. Clearly he forgot about the people in large animal suits to keep the childrens happy. Without that, the alcohol was bound to start flowing. Nothing washes away our problems like a man in a chicken suit... or a vodka.
