First time reading some of this fic. Really great angst, excellent writing style, well-communicated and easy flowing dialogue. I know people who've struggled with addiction to those things, and it does just what you've described. Great imagery, although painful. I'll be watching for more on this one! Nice job, bb! :)

Kris needs professional help before he throws his relationship away. At least he is acknowledging the addiction now. Hope it all works out :-) Great writing - keeping us on the edge of our seats

Okay I've only gotten as far as Adam coming back in the house with a package in his hand and I can't tell you the sick jump my stomach just made.

I can't decide if I'm relieved or scared or upset.

Kris is heading for rock bottom and that is where he needs to get better but I am afraid it may be too late to save his relationship. The harsh reality of addiction just hit Adam and he is walking away. Which is probably what he needs to do but Kris is going to suffer without him.

I hope he wakes up from this hell very soon and not drag his addiction out forever. Please be stronger than the pills Kris. Please!
