Remember I mentioned that norimbrie came to visit? And that it went well? Yeah it went really well. We're officially together now, visits have been much more frequent than I would've expected, and it's really amazing. A whole mess of good news! Sounds good!

As far as the philosophy stuff goes, I think my recommendation would be to check out academic-philosophy blogs (my favorite being Thoughts, Arguments, and Rants -- that's Brian Weatherson's blog -- but there are other good ones as well). Read the short posts, follow the links to articles that sound interesting, and see if anything grabs you. Of course, there's a good chance the spark is out for good (in which case it's just as well you find out now, and not in the middle of a dissertation), but it's worth checking up on.

And as for the non-profit jobs thing, you should check out idealist.org -- there are a whole lot of non-profits in the valley, and if you expand your search into Springfield, it shouldn't be so hard to find something...

Depends on where Becky gets into grad schools. If she gets into Simmons, the choice is pretty clear, if not we'll see? I'll let you know when I have a more definite idea.
