This is a horrible horrible story. It prompted #4 of my post today. I am so shocked that all the people paid to ensure the safety of this child let her down, let her die in agony like this. And the mother?? IMO, she deserves life in prison.

There now, I've had my rant. May her little heart rest in peace. :(
