i cannot for the life of me figure out why khunyoung is so popular. i'm not saying that to diss it (not my favorite couple, but they have some great fic), i'm just honestly baffled. they don't fit into any of the "normal" dynamics that i've seen. although a lot of khunyoung fic seems to be really ooc (i.e. wooyoung is super girly), so that might be part of it.

they do a lot of fanservice. and really? most khunyoung fic i've seen is crappy and ooc, maybe i missed some good ones.

i like them because they legitimately seem to care about each other, beyond just the fan service. i mean, i know most of these guys are friends, but there's an added dimension with khunyoung, something about the way they seem to be in their own world sometimes (though moreso in the past than now, unfortunately), and something about the way khun looks at wooyoung... and the way wooyoung looks at khun when he thinks no one's paying attention. i don't think they're actually fucking or anything, but i do think they mean a lot to each other and that's endearing. i also actually *like* that they don't fit any of the classic fic pairing tropes.
