“No one at YG misses me,” Chaerin says, and there, again, like the farther away she gets from Gangnam the easier it is to start saying all the nasty things that coil in her gut when Teddy avoids her in the hallway and Hyunsuk just tells her to support Hayi. oh man, best line. :(

i loved this story a lot! the atmosphere's kind of piecemeal and disjointed but 2ne1's career's been kind of piecemeal and disjointed for a while so i think it really works here, haha. i really liked the way you got into cl's headspace and how authentic it feels to watch her working through her feelings. thank you so much for writing this ♥!

When I started this, I thought it would be a PWP and while that made sense for the prompt, I was really happy to see it all fleshed out and to see the aftermath of them sleeping together and to see a full fic! I don't know 2ne1 well at all, but I felt like your characterisations were very true, if that makes sense, and I just love how you wrote CL and how she thinks. Thanks for writing this :)

this story is what i love about canon fic: events and things that we've seen and are familiar with, but shown from the other side, and given an underlying context that works with the overall, new story you're telling. it's like everything we see of idols' lives is only a part of a bigger iceberg. and i love your characterization of the four of them. the part at the end with the tattoos was great ;~;

this was a great read! I really liked the choppiness of the scenes, it fit so well with the uncertainty of CL's headspace and where this thing with Minji came from and where it was going to go. I love how you wove in so many canon references and everyone felt very right to me even though I'm not that familiar with the YGE fam. your CL-voice was especially convincing and I really did enjoy seeing the tilting world through her eyes.
