KSDRR - Community Project
Hi everybody! We mods know how tough it is waiting for NEWS/KoyaShige to have some activity, so we thought it would be fun if we could start a community project. And with that in mind we present the first KoyaShigeDake Round Robin (KSDRR) collaborative fanfic.
For those unfamiliar with round robin fanfic it's a story written by a group of people, each one taking a turn and continuing the story from where the last person left off. So someone will begin the story and then the next person is tagged to write a part, then the next person etc.
KSD is looking for fans who'd like to join us on this journey. You don't have to be an established fanfic writer - as long as you can write a few sentences you can participate.
Naturally this will be a KoyaShige story, with Koyama and Shige as the main characters/pairing though supporting characters are welcomed they just can't take over the story.
Each writer will have up to 7 days from the time they are tagged to add their part to the story. Your contribution can be as little as a paragraph up to a whole page (don't worry if you’re a little over or under. It's all for fun :)). We only ask that if you know you won't be able to write anything in the 7 days when it's your turn that you pass the story on as soon as you can. If you need to pass you can either be added back into the list and take your turn later or drop out.
You are in total control of your section. There is no limit on the rating of what you write, though we ask that you flag anything rated R or above for readers and writers, and be prepared that the next writer may not take the story where you would have taken it.
The story and the list of writers will be maintained in the main story post. And after each turn the writer will add their section in a comment to that post and it will be added to the body of the post. The next author will then be tagged to write their part - either by subscribing to that post and/or by contact from the community mods.
All you need to do to participate is leave a comment with the following information:
The name you want to use: writing name/LJ name/nickname - this will appear on the writers list.
Contact info: where the mods can send you notice that you've been tagged. An email address would be ideal though we can PM you as long as your LJ is set to accept messages. If you don't want to leave an email address in a community post you can also PM details to inala or haruka21.
