I saw three movies! The Proposal, Orphen, and Ponyo. The Proposal wasn't good at all--semi-funny, sure, but I've seen Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds both do such better work. Still, it was kind of cute. Orphen freaked me the fuck out, srsly. What a weird, freaky as all fuck movie. URGH. And Ponyo... SUCKED ASS. DDD: Why, Miyazaki, why?!?! After

Other than that I'm doing pretty good.
Also, wtf? I didn't even know Miyazaki had a new movie out! For reals, srsly?!! I don't feel quite as bad if it sucked that hardcore though. What are your favorite Miyazaki films?
Lol, twitter. I don't even really use mine. Who is this Maya? if you don't mind my asking

Yep, Ponyo! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0876563/ It came out in the theater I always go to, so obviously I went. I hated it, but I think that's b/c I wasn't expecting what I got. It's directed at 5-year-olds, more or less. *shrugs* My favorite Miyazaki films are definitely Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. I like the ones that are more serious and that have better love stories. Oh, but Kiki's Delivery Service and Princess Mononoke also rocked! ♥
Twitter can be annoying, occasionally. Maya is a famous fanfic author for Harry Potter, specifically Harry/Draco fans. She's now using the lj name sarahtales, although she was known as a few other things. She took all her fanfic off the internet when she got published, which annoyed a bunch of fans including myself, because her fic's considered some of the greatest H/D fic that can be found. I've got a PDF of all her fic, but still. It's not the same. ;_;

Ah~ I think I'll still see it but I'll keep that in mind when I do. My favorites are Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and My Neighbor Totoro. But Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle were pretty rockin'. The only one I wasn't particulary fond of was Porko Rosso.
That sucks lameness. >.< How did she find your twitter though? I mean, really?

I never saw Porko Rosso b/c I'd heard bad things about it. And I didn't particularly like Castle in the Sky, either. It's probably a good idea to see Ponyo regardless--giving it money means it's more likely we'll get more anime films in theaters, right? *crosses fingers*
IT DOES INDEED SUCK LAMENESS. I have no fucking clue how she found my twitter. She said she constantly googled her name (and I guess lines from her fics or whatever) b/c she's got a problem with people re-posting her fics everywhere without her consent. I hate it when people re-post without the author's consent, but I still think it's weird that she found my twitter. It's not like it's FFN or something. SRSLY. *shrugs*

I think Ponyo really did have a focus that was intended more for five year olds to appreciate and enjoy. I mean, I was telling siriuslyyellow and another friend basically the same thing. Why did those adults constantly let these two kids continue on their way? It was strange. And there was some weirdo shit going down just generally. We saw the movie at about 9:30-ish, so there were very few kids. It was mostly Japanese people and otaku in our theater. Which meant the comments said during the movie were amazing beyond all belief. XD
LMFAO!1 Yes, her random ghetto dancing was amazing. Still, not too great. Meh. Why not spend a girls night out watching slash, that's what I say! \o/
