Scotty was sure of it. Kirk was sociable and funny, easy to talk to when he had a problem and able to think quickly in a tough situation. Spock was -> did you forget to finish this sentence or was it intentional?

I just got around to reading your fic today sneakily on my phone while watching a trial, and let me tell you-I couldn't laugh out loud, of course, but my constant smirking had the judge glaring at me all the time. I was totally expecting to be held in contempt of court. So thank you for that. *grins*

That being said, I of course love this! It's definitely one of the best STXI fics I've ever read, so thank you so much for writing it ♥ I love your description of Spock/Uhura, I adore your Kirk/Spock progression (this part was great-third-person-pov always gets to me!), and your characterisation of Sulu, Scotty and McCoy. And OH, CHEKOV ♥!

(I would make one tiny request, though-could you maybe include the link to the next chapter in your previous ones? It makes it easier to read :D)

Wow, thanks so much! I'm trying to get the chapters out in a timely manner, but there's only so fast a person can go, srsly. :P I love slowly progressing relationships, so this is just pure entertainment for me. All the side characters rock, and Chekov is a total slasher, you just know it.

Great stuff!

I liked the insights into each character and how they view each other and, possibly more importantly, Kirk and Spock. Plus, Chekov, McCoy and Scotty's sections all made me grin :).

It'll be interesting to see how these views change as they become better friends and plot threads progress. Chekov is so right about Kirk and Spock that it isn't even funny (except that it really is funny). How long before others start to catch on? Surely Bones won't be in the dark for much longer, what with how well he knows Jim? How will Uhura's pov change as things with Spock progress glacially slowly while he keeps getting closer to Jim? Will Scotty ever get the thanks he deserves and will Sulu hit on some plan to get the crew to warm up to Spock

Not to worry, all fandoms aren't for all people. It's nice that you even went to see if I wrote anything :). I do have a bunny for some Kirk/Spock, but my writing is about as glacially slow as Kirk, Spock or Uhura buying a clue, so it may be some time in appearing *vbg*.
