I like how realistically their relationship and actions come across in this--it just makes sense that Dan would feel angry and somewhat helpless over Rorschach being hurt, and that Rorschach would lash out and bolt when Dan presses him too far. They're just as complex and complicated as they should be.

Eehh. Thank you. Kind of disinclined to agree; tension feels forced and wrong, like I was trying to wring drama where there was none. But am glad you like it.

I loved this. I just...the anger they both have barely in check, all of the bitterness and negativity coupled with their insistence to keep coming back to each other...Also: “Needed help an hour ago,” he snarls, his mask rippling with angry energy. That line hurt like a bitch.

I'm glad you liked that part, heh. Was kind of fond of the sentiment; felt like a low punch, which is of course what it was.
