There's nothing here that those who read your journal would be very surprisd about, that I can see. I agree with you on almost all of these points, esp. the abortion question, BTW.

Just to put in one point before I take this thing myself is about gay marriage. Some conservatives are fine with gays getting married ... they just want to CALL it something else. They believe that the original meaning of the word was only intended for a man and woman, so they want that meaning preserved. There are some who think that gay "married" couples should have the same rights as hetero couples but should just use a different word.
And yes, I actually do think this position is pretty daft, but I thought you might be interested in hearing it. ^_^;
