Allow me to share with you a recent experience. Some fifteen minutes ago my Win7 suggested installing of an update. I agreed. Then it asked for a reboot. I agreed (even though I hate this habit to reboot every time it installs some little patch).
And guess what? Now my Cyrillic keyboard is dead and I see no way making it alive. You, the lovers of this crackpot operation system, may you offer me any suggestions of what I should do (except for a universal MS Windows recipe «for minor problems reboot, for major, reinstall»)?
I know a great answer: find
ishc and go on installing GNU Linux (we didn't finish it last time because we spent too much time making a backup because Win7 does not work with drivers allowing to read Ext2Fs). But what to do right now?
