It says a lot for Gurren Lagann if it can move stalwarts of shoujo the way it does, to the point that one could write a g2g fic about it that becomes so good despite the lack of fodder material to use. And true, Yoko badly needed some love when all was finally said and done. Bravo with the choice of partner too.

Thanks for commenting here, too! The finale just left me cold. I mean, N** going into sparklies. Yoko ALONE for the next twenty years, surrounded by screaming brats. Makes sense that she wouldn't let herself get close to anybody after her Kiss of Death x 2, but ARGH.
