60s Tennis!

This year for Costume Con, twilatee and I entered 1880s tennis dresses in the historic masquerade. More on that later. But for the day, we wanted easy costumes with tech rehearsal and workmanship judging to think of. She had a brilliant plan--vintage tennis dresses!

I know! I took tennis as one of my required P.E. classes in college, but I'm so incredibly not athletic. It was fun for ten minutes though!

I don't think I've worn anything the felt cuter. It was really quite fun :)

Tempe is a very warm place for Victorian dresses. I'm sure your 60's version of tennis was more comfortable. That looks like A mountain behind you.

Very warm place! The 60s version was the more comfortable for sure.

The mountain thing behind the hotel did have a name, but I forgot what it was. People were running up it the whole time in 100 degree heat. Crazy, as far as we were concerned!
