The thing that puts that one totally over the top for me is that she didn't want to tell her niece what a vag was.... her 12 year old niece.
Come ON. I mean not that a vagina is a bad word to teach at any age, but at 12 years old... she's probably menstruating or will be menstruating soon, and you're not going to tell her the name of where she'll be bleeding from??
Also, have you ever seen the show Scrubs? There was an episode the revolved one of the characters, Elliot, being too embarrassed to say the word vagina because she found it to be a dirty word (one of the running gags about this character is that she has a really screwed up sense of sexuality). The point being that an adult disapproving/afraid of that word is ridiculous, much more so when that person is a doctor. But this is real!

Great icon idea.

It's just...what sort of ass-backwards mentality does one need to have in order to consider vagina, a clinical term, a dirty word?
And thank you. :)

I think she even used the term "hoohah" too.

I think I may need to steal that icon.

I'd rant on the screwed up mentality some people in this country have towards sex and how pervasive that attitude is...but I'm just too busy laughing.

And word. Seriously, word. If we weren't too busy laughing, the Brits would actually be right about us.
