Drabble Batch

Koyama/Shige/Ryo
A/N: 10 minute drabble with
cynicalism. This is incoherent. T.T Problem with writing under ten minutes.
Shige hates the feel of his long hair: it sticks to his forehead when he sweats (which is often considering rehearsals), it clings to the back of his neck and scratches at his skin annoyingly, it falls into his eyes when he doesn't pull it back properly, which is all the time.
Koyama combs back strands of Shige's hair with his hands, prepping it into a ponytail. "You know, you can do this by yourself," he laughs.
Shige's eyes close, sighing. "Yes, but it feels better when other people do it."
"What, you have a fetish for people touching your hair?" Ryo snorts from across the room.
"You don't?" Shige says without intending, before his eyes snap open and he gasps. "Uh."
Koyama laughs behind him, his hands combing through Shige's hair again.
Ryo raises an eyebrow. "That explains why you still keep that horrible long hair even though it looks ugly as hell."
The twang of the rubber-band snapping around Shige's hair stops anyone from responding. "Done!" Koyama exclaims with excitement before stepping back. Shige sighs happily, dragging his hand across the back of his neck.
Ryo looks at Shige for a few moments before getting up and pushing some strands of Shige's bangs away from his face. Shige blinks as Ryo looks up at Koyama. "Missed some."
There's an audible gasp from Shige before Ryo turns back with a grin. "Don't fall in love now."
Shige gives Ryo a face before sticking up an inappropriate finger at him. Koyama grins at Shige. "Member ai at its best?"
"You're no better," Shige snorts before vowing in his head that maybe it really was due time for a haircut.
Yamapi/Maki
A/N: Comment!fic for
anamuan with the prompt "Honey, we're not the same people anymore. Maybe we need to find new common ground."
Maki couldn't help it anymore. There wasn't anything there - they were trying too hard to keep something alive that shouldn't. That had long given up on them, so they should do the same back.
"We're not the same people anymore," she whispered to him, hand over his. Yamapi snatched his hand away, and Maki pulled it back. He avoided her. There wasn't a frown, there was no sadness. She had faced facts long ago.
Yamapi bit his lower lip, looking away - refusing to meet her eyes. "You're giving up so soon."
"I'm not giving up," Maki said, face filled with determination. She reached for his hand again, but he pulled it out of her reach. "I'm just facing what you need to realize, Yamashita."
The name was harsh and rough against her tongue - it'd been a long time since she'd used it. "We're not made to be together."
Yamapi turned back, finally strong enough to look at her. "Or we just have to learn to grow up together."
Maki smiled. "Sometimes, Tomohisa, growing up means growing apart."
Nakamaru/Maki
A/N: Comment!fic for
anamuan with the prompt "Like looking at everything through air and not water."
Water distorted when you looked through it - your vision was hazy at best, and everything was just skewed. You never knew what was true or what you saw was in fact what was.
Nakamaru went through life looking water, everything hazy and a little distorted. Mostly distorted towards his own likings - it made life easier to get through.
But seeing Maki, everything cleared. It was like looking through air. The sight was sharp and real, and Nakamaru noted every single bit of thing about her - the way her hair fell, the twinkle in her eye, her habit of pushing her hair behind her ear. He took it all in.
Life became even more beautiful. Sharp lines and vivid realizations. It made a difference.
Tegomass
A/N: Comment!fic for
cynicalism with the prompt "and the sunlight in your eyes."
Tegoshi holds his fingers out in the shape of a box, his pointer touching his other hand's thumb and vice versa. Pushing it in front of him, he sees Massu through the small hole and Tegoshi grins as Massu starts playfully dancing for the camera.
The sun is hitting him through the trees and there's this undeniable halo hovering over Massu's head. Tegoshi's smile only widens as he watches Massu start to pose for his photo shoot.
A couple of minutes pass before Tegoshi falls onto his back, relaxing in the comfy - kinda damp - grass underneath him. And another few minutes before Massu's face hovers over his own.
"Enjoyed watching?" Massu asks, before turning over to lay beside Tegoshi.
"Un," Tegoshi says. "Massu always lights up when he's before a camera."
Massu laughs, but Tegoshi's not done. He turns to his side and pokes Massu in the cheek. "Massu doesn't need sunlight to shine. He has his own light."
Massu's laughter dies down quickly as he turns his head to meet Tegoshi's eyes. "Sentimental, Tegoshi?"
"We're back together," Tegoshi murmurs. "What's there not to be sentimental about?"
Masami/Ryo!friendship
A/N: Comment!fic for
cynicalism.Written while Last Friends had been running.
Masami doesn't know how Ryo takes all the harassment from everyone on his role. It's one thing to be known for a kind, nice role. It's another to be known for a horrible role that doesn't appear to be nearing a good resolution. After seeing him being pointed out on the street (since he's shopping with her) and loudly talked about how horrible he must be, Masami throws the two gossiping females a dark glare.
"Ryo-chan," Masami says loudly, slipping an arm around his. "Thank you so much for being so nice and taking me out like this. You're too kind."
The girls throw the two an awed look before clicking away at their cell phone. Ryo, on the other hand, raises an eyebrow and a shake of his head. "This is going to get out, you know."
Masami huffs. "I don't care. People who do that are the most annoying. A job is a job. You are not Sousuke."
Ryo rolls his eyes. "The smart people know that. It's not our fault kids nowadays are getting dumber and dumber." One of the girls gasps loudly before dashing off, her friend joining her a second after she throws an angry look at Ryo and hissing that she knew Ryo was really like that.
"She got what she deserved," Masami grumbles beneath her breath. "I don't understand how you deal with such stupidity."
"Because I get nice reactions like yours," Ryo says with a grin. "I didn't know you were so protective, Masami-chan."
"Don't call me that," Masami complains before punching him lightly on the shoulder.
Ryo covers his "wound" with his hand and frowns. "I thought I was supposed to be the violent one.
Masami laughs sarcastically.
Nino/Masami, Arashi
A/N: Random drabble for
cynicalism after hearing about the Ohmiya!kiss. I do not often write Arashi. Sorry for OOC.
"So you kissed Ohno on stage?" Masami asked - sounding rather calm for the most part - as soon as she pulled open her apartment door.
Nino chuckled awkwardly before scratching the back of his head. "Hi to you too Masami-chan."
She raised an eyebrow, arms crossed as she leant against the doorway. "So?"
"You know how we Johnnys are." Nino shrugged.
Masami stepped back and gave him a huge grin before moving to shut the door. "Then do let Ohno know that he's going to have to be your new girlfriend then."
Nino groaned loudly as Masami shut the door in front of him. He supposed now wouldn't be a good time to tell her that not only was it on fancams, but it was probably going to be part of their NEXT concert DVD. She was going to kill him.
--
Nino walked into the dressing room, then sighed. Moved towards the couch, sat down, and sighed. Rested his head against Ohno's shoulder, and sighed. Ohno raised an eyebrow before asking, "Masami-chan?"
Nino let out a large sigh before Ohno continued. "And you said that we're Johnny's?"
Nino gave Ohno a dirty look as Jun laughed. "Don't laugh at my misery," Nino snapped in Jun's direction.
"Why not?" Jun said cheekily. "You do that enough for us."
Nino stuck his tongue out as Sho butted in. "She can't be blamed for being mad, now can she?"
"I don't need logical right now," Nino complained. "I need someone to tell me how to fix it this time."
"Didn't we help fix it the other times?" Jun snorted.
"That time you groped Ohno in front of her," Aiba pointed out.
"And the second time." Sho shook his head.
"The fake kiss in the Time concert," Jun laughed. "That fight was brilliant."
Nino glared at each of them. "Thanks. I knew you all were gonna be loads of help."
"We should cook something special for Masami-chan to make up for it!" Aiba suggested. "What's her favorite food?" Sho snickered, Nino gave him a look.
"Didn't we try that the third time?" Jun asked, trying to remember.
"And didn't she almost kick all our asses?" Sho pointed out. Ohno patted Nino on the head as he started to groan loudly.
"Well this time, I could just do it better!" Aiba insisted. Nino wondered if it was too late to visit the NewS room - maybe they'd have better ideas.
Then he paused and thought better of it. Nino wasn't sure he wanted advice from someone who spent an entire drama beating up Masami anyway.
Yamapi, Koki, Toma
A/N: I prompted myself this time, lol. I was reading and watching Koki's Shounen Club Premium and was sorely amused at the idea of Koki, Yamapi and Toma being in a unit together called B.I.G. It just... Yeah. (Translation for the SCP is over
here. It was a fascinating interview. Seriously. I recommend everyone to read it.)
The three kids gather in the room, giving each other looks. "Do you-" Yamapi starts before breaking off, flushing.
Toma turns red, as though he knows exactly what Yamapi is thinking - to be fair, who wouldn't - and starts laughing. "Curious?"
Koki gives them both weird looks before going. "We're only kids. I don't think they'd give us a name based on that."
Toma gives Yamapi a sly smile. "I don't know about that. I've heard some things through the grapevine."
Yamapi throws Toma a glare as Toma and Koki exchange looks. "We could always-"
"It's worth a try."
Yamapi backs up against the wall, eyes wide. "Guys. Don't. That's not. No!" They advance and Yamapi shrieks, dashing out of the room. They follow, but Yamapi hides behind Takki who tells the two that Yamapi's innocent and they shouldn't pull him into their ways.
("Bad. Image. Generation." Koki laughs about a few years later when the three suddenly get back together.
Toma gives Yamapi another look. "It's because of you."
"Our group name didn't have anything to do with me. You thought it had before and you were wrong," Yamapi complains, pointing his straw at them.
Koki grins, leaning forward. "You know, our guesses back then did turn out to be true." He throws Toma a sly smile which Toma returns, but not before shaking his head.
Yamapi flushes. "Shut up." He looks away, red. Toma and Koki both laugh at his expression.)
Tegomass
A/N: Random drabble for
cynicalism after she realized I was being "easy" one night. Prompted by "tegomass fifteen years into the future."
Tegoshi didn't expect to still be in the entertainment business 15 years later. Hell, to be part of the entertainment business for almost 20 years now. It was maddening and insanity. They were even celebrating it now - huge hall, balloons littering the ceiling and Tegoshi was starting to feel like he had when he was a kid - when everything was caving in on him and it just got too big for him to handle.
A hand curled around his and the same cheery smile that he'd been with for most of those twenty years was staring him right in the face. "Tegoshi, are you okay?"
Tegoshi sucked in his breath, his hand tightening around Massu's. He exhaled - slowly - and smiled back. "Definitely," he responded. His grip got just a little tighter and Massu's smile got wider.
Everything would be fine with Massu around - Tegoshi knew it.
He hoped so badly for twenty years more.
