oh, i've been reading your posts and taking meticulous notes!!!
i'm already bitching about the $$$.
it's ridiculous how things with "bridal" or "wedding" in front of a title are marked up so much. boooo~

yeah, the key is really to avoid anything with the word "wedding" in front of it. the tough part, though, is the per/head cost. that's the big bulk of dinero. still, you can save bits of money here and there by avoiding obvious wedding stuff. (dunno what kind of wedding you're planning, but nordstrom.com has cute informal wedding gowns).

i looked at the site a while back and totally fell in love with this one white gown. they have very nice ones. also, another good idea i heard is to get a white bridesmaid's dress which is waaay cheaper and just as nice-looking.

my mom's doing the flowers and i'm gonna try to use as many connections as possible to cut down on the cost.
