A Cold Wind Through The Heart

Today I buried my favorite pet. Tia, my oldest cat, the mother of all the rest, was found dead along the demon highway.

It's a very sad day, yet I am heartened by the warmth and feeling I received while conducting the funeral. 
It was a shamanic thing, with all four elements invoked and dancing and music.
