Title : Bound
Rating : PG-13
Summary : "It was foolish to think I could contain you last time. But you're different now. Weaker."
Author's Notes : Spoilers for series 6. I posted this on ff . net ages ago, but I wanted it on here too so that I could have all of my Sassy in one place ;) Speaking of, there's at least one more story on the way soon, much, much longer than this. This is very different to all of my other Sassy works so far, and is kind of a taster for my other style of writing. Hope you enjoy it.

Sam's hands tugged and tested the ropes pulled tight around his wrists, anchoring him to the chair. It didn't give.

"You won't get out this time, Sam."

Sam froze. That voice…it couldn't be.

"It was foolish to think I could contain you before. But you're different this time. Weaker."

"Whu-" Sam licked his dry lips, confused. "What are you doing?"

Lights flickered overheard, then glared out. He winced, eyes adjusting to the sudden brightness.

Castiel stood in front of him, with a confident body but scared, unsure eyes. He took a step forward, a hand ghosting over Sam's hair.

"You hate me, don't you?" The question was unexpected, and asked in a low growl. "Because I've changed. Because I'm less human than before."

"N-no," Sam frowned, suddenly feeling very guilty and not quite knowing why. "I was angry, yeah, but I could never hate you, Cas."

"Good. I'm glad." The angel hesitated, the straddled Sam's lap in one smooth motion. Sam jerked in surprise, muscles pulling at the ropes.

"What are you-Cas?" Sam's voice came out quiet, breathless. Castiel stared back, face blank, eyes swirling with thoughts.

"I'm…losing, Sam. The war isn't going well at all. My brothers are dying and I'm part of the reason why. I feel like…everything is out of my control. I don't know what to do." Castiel's voice cracked slightly, and he let his hands smooth over Sam's chest. The taller man shivered before he could stop himself. "I need you to make me feel powerful again, Sam."

Their eyes met for a long moment. Castiel looked tired, broken, and Sam wondered how he had never noticed it before.

"What do you need me to do?" The angel seemed to relax, and his shoulders fell slightly.

"Just say yes." Castiel murmured against Sam's neck. Sam stiffened, thoughts flying to the other angel who had tried to get his permission. A lump rose in his throat, and Sam fought to force his answer out around it.

"Yes." Because what else could he say? Cas was his friend, and he needed help.

This time when cool leather was pressed between his lips, Sam bit down on the belt willingly.
