"Boy," Ibiki spoke the moment Genma set foot in his office. "You better be damned thankful I wasn't in the middle of anything important." Nothing important at the least, Ibiki was seated in a rather comfortable looking armchair while looking over a textbook that he may use in classes for years to come. Ibiki was sitting oddly, with his legs folded--up off the ground.

Hayate looked up from the floor, wondering whom Ibiki was talking to. As promised he had arrived after classes to fulfill his punishment and was on his knees waxing with one hand, polishing with the other, when Genma entered the room rather rudely.

"Hey," he greeted and stood. "I can leave if it's important."

"Get back to work. I assure you it's nothing important."

Genma was about to apologize to Ibiki, when he saw his roommate waxing the floor.

"Hayate, what the hell are you doing?"

[koff_koff]

"Waxing the floor."

The answer was obvious. Hayate nodded in reply to Ibiki and returned to his spot on the floor.
