Cheer Practice

((ooc: Sorri, I just saw that there was no real post on a cheer practice, so I thought I'd start one...hope lost of people show up! Dont forget, as usual, everyone is allowed to come and gawk at the girls...^_

Temari glared darkly at the bright, cheerful sun who was simply mocking her as she walked to the field. She wanted it to rain but it didn't. The gods were clearly against her side this time. She glanced at her watch, noting that she still has time to dash back to the lockers, change into her uniform and drive out of school. No, she didn't want to go to cheer practice today.

She crouched down to check her shoelaces, not wanting another idiot from the soccer [or any other team, for that matter] to ogle at her. She spotted Sakura and a few other girls she didn't know and care about on the field, warming up. Dropping her bag on the bleachers, she raised an arm to wave at the pink-haired girl.

"Oi~!" She glanced around. "Where are the others?"

Sakura shook her head, one to show the other cheer leader that she didn't know where the rest of the team was, and so that she could rid the dizziness that was plaguing her.

"I have no idea...but if Anko-sensei doesn't show, i'm hitting the road!"

"I'm here!" Ino called, jogging onto the field. Knowing that Sakura, and likely everyone else on the team, had started to notice her lack of presence during practice, the blonde figured that she could start to show a bit more effort in the endeavor. As she approached the two girls, her jog slowed to a casual walk whilst she brought her hands up to the crown of her head, tugging lightly at two sections of hair so as to tighten the ponytail.

Spotting only Sakura and Temari, Ino fell a bit shocked as she came to the realization that she was early. "Hi, girls!" She greeted, slinging her cheer-bag from her shoulders to the grass, and kneeling next to it so that she could retrieve her pom-poms. Standing up, she tossed the girls an easy-going wave while a slight smile crept over her lips.

Running out to the field, taking a quick puff of her inhaler, Hinata smiled at Temari, Sakura, and Ino. "Um, sorry I'm late, my father called." Her face was a little pink as she bent slightly and started taking slow deep breaths.

"Is Anko-sensei even here yet?" She sighed. "I ran all the way here..."

Yukie grinned at Ino's remarks, taking her place in the front. She was one of the taller girls, and was thus resigned to helping perform stunts, and spring off into flips around the area they were given. She listened the other girls converse, rolling her eyes.

Really, she'd made up her little fact about the Karakura cheer squad; it was only there to make the other girls (er, and boy.) get into gear. The only thing she really knew about Karakura was that the basketball team was ferocious and that some of the rather aristocratic children of that area attended that school.

Blue eyes narrowing, Yukie waited.

Thank goodness...i was scrolling and scrolling....

Sakura glared at Temari as the older girl slipped to the back of the line, along with Deidara... but not Ino. Sakura rolled her eyes...the girl just couldn't help but show off, and what better way than being in the front of the team. Well, she wasn't going to get the lme light alone.

Sakura skipped to the front, right next to Ino, getting ready for instructions. This should be fun...

Ino didn't bother turning her head and, instead, slowly followed Sakura with her eyes. Did it bother her that Sakura was going to attempt to show herself off more than Ino and attempt to steal the spotlight? Not in the least bit. She knew it was impossible for that to happen anyway.

Finally turning her head to the girl, she gave Sakura a pleasant smile before shifting her attention back to the front.

Tenten looked at the group before her. Just as long as they paid attention she didn't mind the silent bickering and attitude some of the girls had. She placed her pom poms down and stood with her feet feet together, ready to get started.

"We're going to start off with a dance routine that's going to condense the two lines into two groups. Make sure your arm movements are sharp, anything we do with our hips need to be smooth and eye grabbing, okay? When we get this far, Temari and Deidara are going to lead our groups off into the beginning of our first aerial stunts. When they're up in the air, there's going to be an odd person out. I'll need her to do some flips up in front while the others prepare to descend from the previous stunt. Any takers?"
