If anyone's ever wanted to have hand-made Sanzo sandals for cosplay, here's a neat tutorial from Usaccha at Yume Hiroi Harappa!

SotoNote: All text and images are from 「夢ひろい原っぱ」[yume hiroi harappa, field of dreams]. Also, Soto is from Hawaii and uses ‘slippers’ instead of ‘flip flops’.

Eeee, this is pure crafty awesomeness, thank you so much! The construction technique is a little bit like making old-fashioned rag rugs...just smaller and without the sewing. I'm going to be keeping this in mind the next time I go through my fabric stash! <3

These were really fun to make. And if you have some thicker material, or twist some cotton into a rope, you don't even need the PP cord (^_^)
