But at least Minekura is involved in the artwork. It is going to be so much better than the Saiyuki anime, even if it isn't as lovely as Burial... I wish they weren't shortening it though - I'd love to see every scrap, from the baseball game, to the bitter end. Why cut a thing? I don't understand that...

Ditto. It makes my heart sing. But then, they've been doing the audio dramas as the manga comes out in Japan, so they've never really truly disconnected from those characters. I love that loyalty. ♥
