By the way, I looked for the "café olé" on google but I didn't find anything interesting, so i couldn't help but wonder... is it possible that he meant "café au lait" ? (I don't know much about coffee, but I live in France, so that's the first thing I thought it could be...)

Ah, thank you! Yes, I think it is "cafe au lait". I know nothing about coffee, and my French consists of phrases like "The pineapples don't work" XD

Oh, there was no need to "fix" anything in fact, even though I'm happy that you think I'm right;
it's just that I'm always very surprised and I find it so amusing when French words are used in another language;

A French speaker once told me that my (awful) French pronunciation was actually better than the katakana versions the Japanese people use, which should tell you something about how awkward the Japanese French is XD
