You know it's pure crack and "Syaoran-is-the-poor-buttmonkey" when you laugh at the expense of his torture the whole time, when in reality if you (you in general) witnessed those things Kurogane's doing to Fai and apply it to couples you do know in real life, you would want to gouge your eyes out (and give them to CLAMP). xD
