SDCC is so very nominally only even tangentially at all related to or supportive of comics these days. It's a pretty sad thing for people in comics industry, though obviously awesome and fun for the general populace! I caught an awesome panel last year about "Coloring Hellboy" with Dave Stewart and Mike Mignola. Mmmmm colorsssssssss!

i nearly jumped out of my seat when i discovered there was a glee panel, and the first question out of my brother's mouth was, "and... what does that show have to do with comics?" um.... nothing? exactly? er...
i've really enjoyed all the panels i've ever sat in on - even the ones where i'm just there to make sure i have a seat for the next one. i find the whole world pretty fascinating. i feel like a baby sponge wanting to soak up and learn everything i can.
