You are totally OK for complaint! Hope the surgery goes well; it's too bad you'll be on crutches when the new school year starts. Or did you mean by 'in one year' that you'll be taking a year off?

No, I'll be toughing it out the first half of the term, but that doesn't mean I'm totally prepared for the surgery, but(as my mother says)it'll improve my quality of life...... so let it come..... *cringes*

I did my first student-teaching in a wheelchair. A serious pain, but it can be done.
