excellent list! entertaining, and oh-so true!

but let us not forget, Alan does drag TWICE, including posing in Neville Longbottom's granmother's clothes in Harry Potter 3, and does that singing thing again (and does it quite well might i add) in Truely Madly Deeply, one of my favourite Rickman movies.

also, he seems to do quite a few sex scenes in movies. Close My Eyes, Rasputin, and probably the kinkiest in An Awfully Big Adventure, by unwittingly sleeping with his daughter. ooh-er!
and would kinky count in Closet Land, where -besides doing some light bondage with an innnocent and unwitting woman- he sits on her lap and shoves a bit of tomato and garlic down her throat via a violent kiss?

yeah. um..*shudders* hawt......

Closet Land could not be kinkier. Kink factor 11!

And darn, I have to go and find my Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore mp3 now. I used to play that non-stop.

Ooh, I'm getting shivers up my spine just thinking about those baritone vocals.

*falls right back into the habit*

Does John Barrowman get extra points for getting naked AND still carrying a concealed weapon? 'Cause I think that's a skill.

I think Barrowman pretty much gets the star prize - he's covered at least half the list in Who alone.

And then his hiney got involved!

Gah. You know; that IS the definitive list of things you want your heroes to do and if you wanna be an actress yourself; ditto.

I would make one addition: uniforms. Oh yes. Every actor needs to be kitted out in some highly-polished leather boots. Half the fun in putting someone in a neatly pressed uniform is the prospect of it becoming quickly dishevelled. I recommend an age of sail era type uniform for maximum effect (read: maximum squee-age). The beauty of that time period is that both Navy and Army uniforms are equally shiny and dashing.

Some of the notable masters of this highly skilled art form (this kind of sexy takes extreme talent) are Jason Isaacs ('The Patriot' - the deleted scene with the bandaging-of-the-stomach-and-messiness-of-the-hair being a highlight), Paul McGann and Ioan Gruffudd (both of 'Hornblower' fame), James D'Arcy ('Master & Commander') and Jack Davenport ('Pirates of the Caribbean' - although he could do with losing that rather poor wig).

Alternatively, this could be some weird fetish of mine. But then, isn't that what fangirlism is? :3

Uniformssssss.... *Homer gurgle*
I did think of adding them to the list, but then I ended up going down an entire costume route (boots, leather, tuxedos - I think I need another list). Necertheless, it is pretty vital that all actors should appear in at least one scrummy uniform. And you're right, army and naval uniforms are by far the most scrumptious. Especially when they're on the tight, messy and undone side ;)

I keep meaning to buy Hornblower Even Chance, I do.
I'm just not sure I could handle all the totty that appears to be in there, it could be overkill.

Agree with this, Madam - Uniforms too. Then again, Chris was constantly in a uniform.

I'm loving this.
