Woah, I haven't seen the commercial, but thanks to Hetalia it sounds AWESOME! Poor Canada lol. (and for some reason, I really want to see Su-san getting hit with a snowball XD)

hahaha I know right? I find it so amusing how much Hetalia changed my perception of international relationships.
(HAHA you and me both. Especially since he'll have such a scary face after. hahaha)

That's what I had been thinking. Is the writter of that spot a Hetalia's fan? It wouldn't be surprising at all. And I'd bet the Hetalia's author also will make a parody of that spot XD.
It's odd that spot isn't available on youtube or else.

Now, about the book...the movie. I think I live inside a hole because I don't find myself familiarized with it at all. >_

HAHAHA that would be so wonderful if the writer was indeed a Hetalia fan but I think it's mere coincidence.
I think it's just to showcase the countries and the famous athletes.

aaah, don't feel to bad because I've only heard of it after watching a preview from another movie. I got interested instantly and I am so glad it was worth watching!

totally! I rather feel bad that Canada is portrayed as such a timid and weak country in the anime but hey, it's all about making fun of stereostypes. (although i don't know how "timid and shy" is supposed to be a stereotype of Canadians)
