Reina does this too. There has to be something about being four and metabolic changes because she is about as big as a stick and isn't really growing very quickly, either up or out, despite the fact that she asks for a snack every ten minutes all day, every day. It's like she was growing like a weed for two years, hardly eating a thing, then suddenly the growth thing slammed on the brakes and appetite took over. My theory is she needs all that energy to run her mouth. ;)
this is my nephew. and some days rose. today, she has eaten two eggs, a whole tjs box o grapes(!!) 4 pieces of canadian bacon, about 10 crackers, and a cliff bar, before lunch.
I know exactly what you're talking about. My kids are the same way. Brayden is tall and skinny, Amelia is tall and slightly chunky in a baby sort of way. I try to stave them off as long as I can since we can't afford to feed them as much as they would eat if they could, but I also try to balance it by making sure it's mostly stuff that's good for them.
I keep thinking they need to get jobs to help with the grocery bill.
