When I lived in an apartment complex with lots of kids, I ALWAYS either shut off all my lights and played computer games until they went away, or just plain left and went to a movie, a bar, or both. Giving out candy just encourages their bad dental hygiene and their sense of entitlement. Hand out DISAPPOINTMENT instead!

Normally I love handing out candy on Halloween, but this year I wasn't feeling it (and usually I get maybe 2 trick-or-treaters, if I'm lucky).
