We just got back from Anchorage. Good trip. Yesterday we got to town, dropped Summer off at the kennel, and got to our car appointment about 10 minutes late. Then we waited for Mel to pick us up (as the courtesy van guy wouldn't be back for another 45 minutes) and we went to JC Penney's so I could get fitted for a bra. The lady went zip, zop with

Hehehehe...the merry widow story was fun. Merry widow indeed! Glad you had a fun time, glad you didn't hit thr fox...but very sorry you're not feeling real well! The light show sounds amazing!!!

Thanks. It seems that I feel crappier in the evening through to about noon, then I start feeling fairly okay (though still not 100%) for the afternoon. Then it's back to grossness.

The light show was amazing (as was the musical performance we enjoyed before we left Anchorage).

The Merry Widow thing is amusing in retrospect, but I can tell you I didn't think so while it was happening.

I got overwhelmed in Michael's. I went straight to the stuff I needed (preservative spray for paintings and gum arabic) then Mel and mom and I just wandered for a few minutes. I looked for India ink pens and then my brain went blank. I was like...where am I going? What am I doing? ...GAH let's go to Borders. Then in Borders the same thing happened, though before I lost my brain I found a book I wanted and so I bought it (for about 4-5 dollars more than I would have paid if I'd bought it from Amazon or something).

Anyway, sorry I didn't get to see you this time. We thought we were being so smart and leisurely by going to get the dog and see the CPA early, with plenty of time to get to the PAC, but as it was, about 5 minutes after we found our seats, the show had started.
