He has a fine degree of control over plants that he prides himself on; he can bend the slimmest of tendrils to follow his will. He makes good use of this ability now, as he summons smooth, slender stalks out of the ground and into Zexion's clothing. They're mostly a variant of water weed, slippery with pondwater-- it makes slithering betwen skin and leather much smoother, leaves brushing along the lines of Zexion's stomach before the frond-tips curl and tighten around the nubs on his chest.

Marluxia hears Zexion's breath hitch, and allows himself a superior smile. It seems the enigmatic sixth is just as easy to manipulate through his body as any, though his daily behavior would suggest otherwise. It's just as he expected: his superiors are nothing but empty shells extolling virtues that have become obsolete, operating on the memory of their hearts and far too ingrained in human habits to understand the possibilities of their new lives.

Zexion was perfect.

I never, ever, ever see a Zexion I like. There's always something off; usually too vulnerable or something like. And I can't think of anything wrong with yours. So unaffected and calm and quietly controlling; completely perfect.

And your Marluxia is delicious, as well. It's so good to see him as less than all-knowing.

Would it be unacceptable to worship you now?

I was quite nervous about writing these two because of characterization; this is honestly the first time I've properly written either of them before, at least so far as I can remember. But I'm glad you like their portrayal here! It was a good opportunity to play around with characters I'm not used to.

/o/ It was fun to write, no worship necessary! I'm glad to have fulfilled someone's request.

e_e! I didnt know anyone liked this pairing either. I dont think anyone can be alone in any pairing. There is always at least one other person out there that ships it. xD I was so afraid this wouldnt get written, but it did.

And besides. I dont know why people wouldnt ship it. It's hot.

I have to second Zexion's characterization. I've only seen one other Zexion that I've truly adored, so this was a wonderful treat. :3
