chanyeol's character is really appealing for the reason that he'll do anything for the person he loves even though his attitude towards others says the opposite.

Chanyeol's character in Hostility is much easier to understand for me than the actual person. I am constantly perplexed by the man-child that alternates between being a "happy virus" and a worried soul. But we're here to talk abt Chanyeol in respect to the ff.....
There are many admirable qualities to the character but I also despise the way he has practically manipulated Sehun into sex (read:near rape) nearly every time they've been together. Unlike Jongin who truly raped Luhan a couple of times, Chanyeol's is more of a ravishing because he genuinely derives pleasure from the encounters & believes that Sehun is satisfied as well.
Ambition can drive desire and vice versa - a Machiavellian-esque "ends justify the means" appears to be Chanyeol's mantra.
