I only got 10! AND I cheated on the book pages one, by picking up the nearest book. Maybe I can be excused for the American-based questions... but actually no, the flag, number of states etc should be general knowledge. At least I got the Big Girl's hand correct.
Now I beg to differ about the merry-goround - I'm pretty sure the one in Canberra shopping centre goes clockwise. But we're down under y'know - maybe the gravitational pull??

Yeah, the questions were quite US-centric. I don't blame you for the flag. I couldn't tell you offhand how many stars are on the Australian flag (though I remember they are 7-pointed stars, right?).

Hrm, I wonder if merry-go-rounds in the southern hemisphere go clockwise?

I got 21:
4) I figured "tan" instead of "gold"
7) I thought it was 25, but I never cared 'cause I don't smoke and prefer butane lighters and torches
8) eh, I can recognize the U.S flag on sight and can tell if something's wrong
9) actually, it's more like 87.7 on my digital tuner, but close enough so I counted myself right (all frequencies end in an odd value after the decimal point)
11) again, I don't smoke so I never paid attention
19) I could never remember much about Disney movies, and one made almost 40 years before I was born and only saw once... it became irrelevant.
25) I've seen merry-go-rounds go either direction, but I chose clockwise for this one.
