I'm going to the SW exhibit in mid-November... It would be cool to see it in Atlanta with a bunch of our geeky friends, though... :)

As a fellow Security geek I am often both amazed at what people put out there and dismayed at their lack of understanding in basic security procedures.

On one hand you have the paranoid freaks who obsessively scan their networks with nmap looking for a "Flaw" and on the other you have the people running unpatched zombie machines that send me email for Cialis and VIagra. Sheesh.

Hey, nothing wrong with paranoid freaks, as long as that freak is also the admin :)

Plus, nmap only takes you so far. Of course, I'm a bit biased since I work for a company that makes a robust network scanner product :)

I have a drink coozy that says "Only the Paranoid Survive".
