Brie Larson just won "Best Actress In A Drama" at the Golden Globes. I haven't seen the movie,* but this makes me happy because she'd impressed me a lot as a writer and singer back in the teenpop days; I'd subscribed to her semi-fanzine and regularly read her witty MySpace. Mike Saunders might have copies of a bunch of her MySpace stuff -- I know he was a big MySpacer and archived a ton of stuff (not just hers) before it went under.
I wish there was some equivalent of a MySpace now, because back in 2007, she was talking about working with Harry Maslin, the "Station to Station" co-producer, and I'd like to hear her reflections on Bowie's impact on her life, since that seems to be making the rounds. (Bowie had very little impact on my life, really, except as inspiration to other people I like. I think I technically own a Bowie alb, but I just never really explored his career.)
