I'm probably going to do monthly chart polls at poptimists this year.

That seems like a sane policy, though I worry that by making the polls less frequent we make it even more likely that fewer and fewer people will bother looking at or participating in poptimists. Of course, it may well be time to let poptimists lie fallow, but it does connect me to interesting people I wouldn't connect with/converse with elsewhere.
