Well, I never understood in Romero, how the world goes to hell.
The reality is with slow zombies, theres more than enough time for people to get away. In Night of the Living Dead, the next day, you have a party of hunters, clearly working in concert with other teams, taking the zombies down.
Part of the allure of the Zombie story is the breakdown of society, the removal of safety nets.
What a great story!!!jordanalexandraJune 16 2008, 00:49:00 UTC
truly brilliant story J. I really enjoyed it, am I'm not a reader.
So i read through all of it up to the cover this morning. I saved the very last (unfinished story) post for when my day was over. I loved how you used the bay area so well. It was so very visual for me... Almost to visual. As Im walking towards my car, I hear a noise that my first instinct was.. well... " That wasn't human like". LOL Too funny!
I enjoyed awaiting the anticipation of the last blog. Truly brilliant.

Definitely not a Romero movie though. You'd have died if it was. :P
