My Grandpa passed away this morning after a week-long battle that began with an innocent enough prep for a colonoscopy. He had a malignant tumor in his colon and they believe the violent effects of the medication caused his colon to twist, and by the time they got him to the hospital and into surgery he was in bad condition.
