I think I have some fic saved, but it's mostly in entries (not in my memories) because there isn't a huge lot (...OR EVEN A HANDFUL) on LJ. The most you'll probably find is on fanfiction.net which is obviously disturbing enough. But there IS some good stuff over there if you can weed through it. I'll backtrack my entries and see if I can find my favorites for you.

I cry from the depths of my soul. *laugh* So far I have only managed to come up with two drabbles but I'm going to watch the Layla/Warren bits again and see if I can come up with something longer - set a few years later when they're a wee bit older. I don't understand how it is that Warren can work. Aren't all the freshmen like 14 or 15???
SRSLY. I mean, I get the whole Will/Layla growing up together so obviously there will be some sort of bond - but romantic relationship WTF! :( And the movie made it seem so much like that Warren actually CARED for Layla. The angst.
I THINK Warren isn't a freshman. I want to say he's probably a sophomore. He wasn't at freshman orientation where they separated them into heroes or support, he seems a bit more aware of the school in general, and didn't he call Will freshman once (or was it Layla...). I always assumed he was a sophomore or even a Junior maybe (just by stature).

I admit it wasn't very nice that he set her hand on fire, but well the boy is still a bit rough around the edges and she was just faking it to make Will jealous ;)

Was totally shipping Warren/Layla when I saw this, tis a pity that she chose Will instead. :( She was rather piney around Will and she had much much better chemistry with Warren.

Well I knew she had to pick Will and I was fine with that until I saw how incredibly cute she was with Warren and he was always there for her whereas Will was always letting her down :P I mean Layla forgave Will way too quickly for the way he kept running off with Gwen!?! *rolls eyes* I figure it's just residual affection from when they were kids and she was going to grow out of it pretty quick.

LOL, i think you may have just given me another pair to ship. layla/warren is cute, though i have not actually read any yet. and i think danielle panabaker's really pretty in the movie. well she's pretty, period.

and i think danielle panabaker's really pretty in the movie. well she's pretty, period. She is lovely. I usually am not a huge fan of red hair because it frequently = freckles but she's luminous and expressive at the same time. I thought she and Steven Strait looked absolutely adorable together and their characters were just wonderful.
