I'm almost all glommed out. I pretty much finished the two sets of Brockmann. Having glommed so many of Brockmann's novels in such a short period of time, I offer my comments on "cliches" or elements that Brockmann likes to use in her books:(

Wonderful list of cliches :wg: and followed by the purple prose, it's even funnier. I think my "thumbs up/thumbs down" list is a little different than yours, but it's been a while since I read them and I can't remember exactly why. I remember being completely blown away by Blue - that was the first one I read. Cowboy and Wildcard were also favorites (their names! guh) and Stan stands out as being unique in the crowd. I notice selfconsciously that I can't remember the names of the books, can't remember the plots, can't remember the heroine's names - just the men o_O And if Amazon won't ship the new book to you, I would be happy to!

Linda Howard can be quite funny .... she's very into the alpha male cliche and her love scenes are very full on - but somehow she manages to maintain a sense of humour most of the time :)
