I read a lot of articles on tumblr about the struggle of Black and Hispanics to find decent acting roles.  Asian females to a certain extent get it a little bit easier although it's hard to break out of certain stereotypes.  Asian women tend to be shoehorned into a number of stereotypical rôles:

Demure innocent flower there to tantalise white male
