Oh wow, this is so interesting, and something I didn't spot, didn't even think about.

I know. It's wonderful. I find it so weird that so many people say Mad Max was plotless with no characterisation ... for me, I felt like so much was assumed/applied ... no exposition that assumes the audience is dumb ... just all these things for you to see if you want find them.
