When i saw the last pic of ther i thought she looked like Rebeca Gayheart. I haven't seen the episodes yet, i want to end the shows i'm watching now before i start watching new shows (otherwise, i'll mix the plots and then I won't know what happens in each show)

It's not a terrible show but it's not great. I'll keep watching because it's absorbing and I don't really have a lot else to watch right now!

Yeah, I noticed that she seemed to fall into "river" (or just confused naive and out of sync). I just attributed it to her not
having something dangerous to fight. Like she's not programmed to fit in so much as protect.

I'm not sure this show has the legs to do more than one season.
It suffers from the same problems Bionic did. Good action, lousy plot, remake-itis. It seems more like miniseries material. The story around how John goes from a whiny boy to a leader would be good, they hint at something that was going on with Cameron and future John. The cancer plot thread could be a good story too, but that's really only enough to fill in the pieces until they find SkyNet and destroy it.

At least when she was acting normal it seemed like she and John could be "friends" But now she's eye candy with a bullseye painted on her.

I'm not sure whether or not it's the actress that can't help falling back into River Tam mode or whether the director is telling her to do it. In any case it's very strange that she seemed so normal at the start of the first episode.

I'm wondering whether this is going to be another of those shows where they have to help someone each week until they finally find Skynet to blow it up otherwise I'm not sure how they will sustain a whole season.

I thought the same thing. its like with Buffy and how they introduced Anya, she could act like a completely normal teen when she was trying to fool Cordy and then when she later appeared she acted, well, like Anya. and hey I loved Anya, but it didn't make sense that she could blend in at first but then not later.

with this show, obviously they did it just to service the plot, so John wouldn't realize that she was a machine, but they should have just made her awkward from the beginning, she's pretty enough I doubt that John would have ignored her if she acted odd!;)

that said, I enjoy the show well enough, its not great but with the strike going there isn't much else new programming wise, so I will keep watching unless it gets really bad or annoying.

You're right - Anya's situation was exactly the same. She seemed perfectly normal at first and then later she was all weird and 'does not compute'. The Anya situation is a little more explicable presumably. I'm guessing that the Anya character was only supposed to be on for a while and people liked her so they kept her but had to make her character interesting and quirky etc so had to change her. They don't have that excuse with the Cameron character, though, because they've known right from the start that she's going to be a regular character.

I'm still watching it because I think it's entertaining.

I agree with the above comments, they have to figure out where they want to take this think and what they want to do with Summer Glau's character. If every episode is running from another terminator its going to get boring fast. I would be interesting to see Summer's character trying to become more human, or gain humanity.
