Fic rec: Yuletide recommendations
A while back I posted my own Christmas Wish List when talking about the Yuletide Challenge. As mentioned, it's a secret fiction exchange and while I didn't participate, I spent some time today reading some fics :)
I might try to spend some time writing up my own wish list since very few of them were answered (alas :)

Author's Summary: "We are more than our hunger and yet we belong to the moon." Fiona/Michael, pre-series.
Comment from koala: I read all the Burn Notice fics today and thought that this one best captured the badinage between Fi and Michael.

Author's Summary: It takes time to make a philosophy to live by, but even those you depend upon for survival can have their moments of weakness. Quinn admits something, just once.

Fandom: Robin McKinley - Damar series
Rating: PG
Summary: The City is a different place during the winter rains.
Comment from koala: Wonderful fic! This is so nice and captures McKinley's tone perfectly. It's rare to find good McKinley fic, largely because Ms McKinley dislikes fan fiction and has specifically asked her fans not to share it publicly ... Still this is a must read for Harry/Corlath fans.
