Amma's small box story

That reminds of the light conversation we were having when we were driving to Tirupati for our baby's tonsure at Tirupati temple. Our relative was telling us of an M.R.Radha joke in some old movie "Marubadiyum valandhrum'ra dhariyathula dhana daa neenga ellam motta podaren'nu vendikreenga! Mudi valaradhu'nu sonna evanaanu motta poduveengla!" (not the exact words may be - but something like that). In some sense cleaning the temple is a much harder prayer than offering tonsure.

Yeah, it definitely is. But it is a lot more useful prayer.

excellent little story Knutties! Convey my appreciation and congratulations to your mother. Loved it. We don't get any Tamizh magazines, so it was nice to read this. You must be so proud of her.
