Thanks to infinitemorning for her post that alerted me to the latest bullshit from the Republicans.

Namely, this fear mongering piece of bullshit propaganda used by the GOP tonight for their own political gains, AND to try and make Americans think that now it was all Iran's fault, secretly, that 9/11 happened! Now, that's funny, I thought it was Iraq? Or wait, ( Read more... )

Olbermann handled that just right and I am so impressed with him for doing that. It needed to be said, and he did so with the grace and emotion that was necessary.

He just earned mad points in my book.

Wow, even I don't agree with how the events were tied together there. Given both my position and access to intelligence information, I can't say much else. However, given the information out there, I can understand how someone could put those elements together, but only the far right should be at all motivated by such a montage. I'm starting to believe that it's time for either new political parties or serious reform, since I'm not interested in what the far left in the Democratic party have to say or offer, either.

Wow, Olbermann totally got it right. That was tasteless and he reacted with class and emotion.

Also, agree with the guy above me, we need to get ride of the fringe in charge of both parties. They're both, "it's my way or no way," and neither of them want to work together to do anything.
