The entire house was spotless. That meant Nadine Dent had gotten into one of her cleaning fits... which meant she'd gotten into an at least slightly manic fit. She'd calmed down somewhat, able to watch the news without being too restless. She sat on the bed, the TV in the room on as she listened to it

Harvey came into the bedroom a few moments after coming in the front door of the apartment. "I'm home," he said as he walked in.

"Hey," she said, looking over at her husband. She smiled slightly, but the expression didn't quite seem to fit.

At least the story was off the news.

He leaned over to her side of the bed and touched her chin with a finger. "What's wrong?"

She closed her eyes for a moment before looking up at him again. With a vague gesture at the TV, she murmured, "Watching the news. It-- There's-- There's always something, isn't there? Something happening."
