But no matter, I don't feel like doing anything anyway. My head is throbbing more than usual. Seems people are more highly strung than usual... I wish they'd all learn to keep

You should try petting the cat. It can be very soothing and relaxing if you're in a cranky mood or have a headache. I'm sure the recent power outage was quite difficult for you. Have you considered asking to borrow one of the shielded rooms for "power practice"?
